I have been happily married to my wife, Jamie, for over 20 years and have 3 incredible kids – Kayden, Kendall, and Kyla.  We met in college while I was attending Western Michigan University studying Secondary Education (Drafting & Design) and she was studying Nursing at Grand Valley State University.  After graduating, I began work as a design engineer.  Through various companies, large and small, I had the opportunity to work in fuel systems design and agricultural design.  During my time in a traditional office setting, my wife and I began our real estate journey.  From finishing off our lower level in our first home together, to flipping several homes, and purchasing rental properties, real estate has been a part of much of our marriage together.  Throughout these experiences, I have had the opportunity to learn a lot about what makes a quality home from the foundation up.

Shortly after our daughter was born in 2015, we both decided on new adventures.  Jamie went full time into real estate and I left a corporate office setting to begin designing from home.  That decision led me to an opportunity to work with a local high end architect completing construction drawings initially, along with some design opportunities.  The knowledge gained working in this setting provides me with a unique prospective in the real estate world.  As Jamie’s schedule continued to grow with clients, I decided to get my real estate license as well.
